~Penelope the Fair Puppeteer~
Isn't it so amazing how a doll will just evolve on her own,if you just let her? That is definitely the case with"Penelope".I had the hardest time for some reason, settling on an idea for this Ebay group launch.I knew the fabric I wanted to use,and finally just settled on"Miss County Fair".I still wasn't happy-AT ALL-but knew I had to get started,so I just got going on her, fully knowing, once I got started, she would lead me,and she did!As I was dressing her,out of nowhere, the"Puppeteer"idea came to me,and the creative thoughts started rushing in!She is available on Ebay as part of the TDIPT"Day at the Fair"group event.Be sure to type in TDIPT in your ebay search over the next couple of days to see all of the wonderful artwork up for auction! Thanks so much for stopping by!Have a great day!

Independence.....
This is"Independence",my latest doll. She will be for sale on the TDIPT Mercantile,on their 15th of the month web update.I am so happy to be joining them!I am also very excited about the new background that Paula Plott Gregg,an amazingly talented friend of mine painted for me!

I absolutely adore American Folk Art from the 18th and 19th centuries, and that's where I drew my inspiration for"Independence"from, especially this cloth doll from the mid to late 1800's~

Until next time, have a great day!

firstfruits.....
Sophia and Ella are so pleased to finally be holding a bouquet of fresh cut Roses from the garden again!Isn't Springtime so wonderful?!!!These are the first~fruits of some of my Roses.Oh,what I would give if I could somehow share their magnificent fragrance with you! There is absolutely nothing like it on Earth! No perfumer or candle~maker has ever even come close,in my opinion. In fact,I do not even like any synthetic Rose or Floral fragrance. But the real thing-Oh!How it transports me to such a peaceful place!Happy Spring, everyone!

...do you ever wonder
.....what little girl might have held this box,who gave it to her?And at what special occasion did she receive it?...what did her dollie look like that wore the hat tucked inside of it...

What did the bedroom look like, where this magnificent doll bed resided?Wouldn't you have just loved to see the little girls, ages ago, putting their beloved dollies to bed in it....
